Environment, Forest and climate change current perspective

Mr. Manoj is very dynamic intellectual with more than 10 years of work experience in Research. Currently he works as a Research officer with Forest Informatics Division, F.R.I., Dehradun. His areas of interest being Forest Vegetation Modelling, Geomatics, Use of RS/GIS for forestry, EIA/EMP, Adequacy and Efficacy study of pollution control devices. He interacted with the students of Civil Engineering Department for 90 minutes. He presented a lecture on “Environment, Forests & Climate Change current perspectives. During his lecture he discussed impacts on the environment & forest due to climate change. In addition he discussed various initiatives taken by the Indian Government to tackle these problems. He motivated the students to stay up to date on such alarming issues. The interaction had been very useful for the students and the faculties as well.
